On the way, you'll make a stop at an organic farm nestled in the hills to experience the local rural life and learn about Costa Rican agriculture. There, you’ll enjoy a traditional Costa Rican lunch before continuing your journey to La Fortuna, near the Arenal Volcano. In the evening, after checking into your hotel, you'll head to a natural hot springs resort to unwind in pools with varying temperatures. You'll wrap up the evening with a wonderful meal before returning to your hotel. **Tip:** Be sure to wear your bathing suit and slip-on shoes for a comfortable experience at the hot springs!

  Immerse yourself in Costa Rican rural life as the Elizondo Herrera family guides you on a tour of their farm. Enjoy a leisurely 30-minute walk as you explore the farm and learn about the various plants and fruits grown there, including the iconic pineapple. Afterward, you'll have the chance to learn the art of making homemade tortillas before sitting down to enjoy a delicious traditional lunch prepared by the Herreras.

  This evening, you’ll unwind in natural thermal pools and jacuzzis with varying temperatures, designed for targeted hydromassage for your back, legs, and feet. Enjoy the soothing warmth of the pools, which range from 91º F (32º C) to 105º F (41º C). After your relaxing soak, you’ll have time to change and enjoy an included dinner. Towels and lockers will be provided for your convenience.

Once there, take a scenic walk down to the waterfall and enjoy the breathtaking views, or take a refreshing swim in the cool waters below. **Tip:** Be sure to wear your bathing suit, and bring a towel, sunscreen, a hat, a water bottle, and comfortable walking shoes for the best experience at the waterfall.

• La Fortuna Waterfall Visit

  In the afternoon, you'll take a short 30-minute private transfer to the entrance of La Fortuna Waterfall. From there, you'll make your way down the 530 steps to reach the waterfall—don’t worry, the stunning rainforest views and the chance to spot some wildlife along the way make the descent worthwhile! If the weather permits, you’ll have the opportunity to swim in the crystal-clear waters. After soaking in the breathtaking views and drying off, you’ll take your time walking back up the steps to the entrance. There is a bathroom at the main entrance if you need to change out of your wet clothes.

Say goodbye to the rainforest and head toward the beach! Today, you’ll embark on a half-day transfer to Jaco, a town renowned for its world-class surfing beaches and abundant wildlife. Along the way, you'll stop for lunch on your own, and you’ll arrive in Jaco by mid-afternoon. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the afternoon and evening will be free for you to relax and explore at your leisure. **Tip:** If you’re prone to car sickness, don’t forget to bring your medication for the journey!

You’ll prepare one main dish, which could include patacones, chifrijo, and tortillas, with the exact menu varying based on the seasonality of the ingredients. Water is included during your meal.
